Pictured: too many goddamn spark plugs
At least it’s over and done with.

It's either a Hemi or a Veyron.

It’s actually a Chiron with a hemi swap.

Or two V8s, or 4 four cyl... or a V10 and a V6....

It’s just a standard 5.7l hemi.

If only.
It’s just a hemi.

I had no idea any of them ran 2 plugs per cylinder....TIL!

Supposedly it’s the only way they could get it to pass emissions. I think one fires on the standard combustion stroke and then the other fires on the exhaust stroke to burn any unburnt fuel. It’s been a while since I read up on it though so someone may want to correct me if I’m wrong.

interesting - I had no idea the dodge 5.7 hemi was twin plug. I remember some of the 4cyl Ranger motors being twin plug a awhile ago but not much else. A couple of those look a little gunky but not too bad.

Psh...the daimler-chrysler engine spark plug change can be much worse. How many is too many?

And both of ours are probably still easier to do than most boxer engines.

A few of them had a little oil on them. If it gets worse I’ll pull the valve covers and take a look at the seals but it’s probably not anything worth worrying about.

Did this same spark plug change last spring . You’re right that it’s not difficult. Just really tedious.
